Travelers who come during the shoulder season months of May and October will
find reduced crowds, warm Gulf water, and low rainfall.
Average Weather
Even in December, January, and February daily highs are in the seventies;
the winter months are generally dry. With a temperature range between 91 and
72, September is the rainiest month, averaging over nine inches of rainfall.
August isn't far behind with an average rainfall of over eight inches.
Transportation
Naples Trolley is the best way to tour the town, with on board guides and
off-on tickets, call (941) 262-7300 for information. Most visitors to this Florida city tend to prefer having their own car though.
In-Season Costs
Golf packages in season can be pricey in the two hundred and fifty dollar
range for at a moderately priced hotel. Naples has many tempting restaurants
in the twenty to thirty dollar range. If you are planning to golf, or visit
during the golfing season research specials well in advance.
